Years before, working at the Taiyo support
we received a fax from Hamburg which made us smile:

"Is it possible to modify Technics SX-A10
with wooden keys"

The Taiyo Support is maken reparatues with
original spareparts and the keys are plastic, are because servicing whole
germany, where is no time for experiments.

the boss of the servicedepartment gave
the license to research.

The customer was the boss of a handycraft
workshop and could affort his love to musical instruments.

The SX-A10 is a luxury-show version of
the SX-GN9.
the difference is the exclusive showdesign,
2x61 keys, das fullpedal and the two
external speakercabinets.
Tonegenerators are some 8-voice 12-Bit
DSPs
(same as SX-K700 und SX-KN800), DA-converters
as in the DX-7.
Controlled by 16bit processors with
subprocessors.

took me to Erfurt in Thüringen.....
